Leave it to Neil Patrick Harris to come up with a new way of writing a memoir: Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography lets you, the reader, star in the actor's life.

The book — out Oct. 14 — promises to share everything from what it was like to play Doogie Howser to how it feels to be on board Elton John's yacht. Harris made a trailer for Choose Your Own Autobiography, which demonstrates how the reader will be able to select different paths for Harris to take. Watch the video below, and please pick wisely (don't make him take shots of rubbing alcohol!). --Catherine Garcia
