FX's Fargo wins Outstanding Miniseries
FX's critically acclaimed Fargo has won Outstanding Miniseries at the 2014 Emmy Awards.
Showrunner Noah Hawley used his acceptance speech to pay tribute to the Coen Brothers, who wrote and directed the movie on which the series was based. "[The Coen Brothers] said, 'Look, we hate imitation, but it was eerie reading this because it felt like you were channeling us," explained Hawley. "They let me pretend, if only for five minutes, that I was one of the greatest filmmakers alive."
