So say the good listeners of BBC Radio 2, who have given the lead track of Led Zeppelin's second album the ultimate "we're not worthy" treatment:

The rock classic came out top from a list of 100 riffs drawn up by a panel of Radio 2 and 6 Music DJs, critics, and record producers.

"Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns 'N' Roses was second in the poll, with "Back In Black" (AC/DC) and "Smoke On The Water" (Deep Purple) the next most popular. [BBC]

However, with fart-rock classics like Pink Floyd's "Money" making the top 10, we have to wonder whether BBC Radio has heard of a little ditty called "Tornado of Souls"? Or this jam called "The Art of Shredding" that is rumored to have some pretty sick riffage? Or this one song that will warp your fingers into devil horns with its how-do-you-even-do-that-you-insane-person riffs? Anyway, congrats to the winners.
