A suicide bomber in east Baghdad has killed at least 12 people, according to Iraqi officials.
An Iraqi police officer told the Associated Press that the bomber targeted a Shiite mosque, blowing up his vest as the religious left the mosque following their noon prayers. In addition to the 12 killed, 26 others were injured.
The AP speculates the bombing is related to ISIS and its self-declared Islamic caliphate.
