Israeli attack on Gaza school kills at least 15
At least 15 people were killed Thursday when Israeli forces struck a U.N. run school in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, the BBC reports.
The Gaza Health Ministry reported that the school had sheltered Palestinians. In addition to the 15 reported deaths, another 200 people were wounded in the attack.
The BBC reports that the attack marks the fourth time a U.N. facility has been hit in the Israeli offensive against Hamas. Survivors of the attack at the school told CBS News that they were warned the school was a target. They said the Israeli forces opened fire as they prepared to exit the building.
