Prince Fielder donned a new uniform this season, but he's now ditching his duds entirely. Yes, the portly Texas Rangers slugger and butt of many, many, fat jokes will appear in the next installment of ESPN the Magazine's Body Issue, the magazine announced Wednesday.
Fielder will appear alongside more traditionally-athletic bodies like those of Venus Williams and Michael Phelps. But honestly: good for him having the courage to do the shoot. Maybe we'll learn he's a solid 275 pounds of muscle, and not, say, quite as jiggly as Bartolo Colon.
