Letterman mocks Hillary's not 'truly well off' line

David Letterman's "Top Ten List" last night on the Late Show focused on "Things A Presidential Candidate Should Never Say." And he opened up the segment by discussing Hillary Clinton's recent comments about the Clintons being not "truly well off:"

"They're not well off?" Letterman gibed. "I mean, you're lucky to get downtown on a hundred million."

Not to make too much out of a joke, but politics is downstream from culture — and the fact that Letterman is already mocking Hillary is, perhaps, a welcome harbinger of things to come for Republicans.
