Before Twilight, Robert Pattinson was a rapper named Big Tub

If you know only two things about English actor Robert Pattinson, it's probably that he was vampire heartthrob Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies, and that he dated his costar, Kristen Stewart, in real life, too. It turns out, he told Seth Meyers on Late Night, that he also had aspirations to be a rapper. His stage name, Pattinson said, was Big Tub, and because he didn't know how to scratch, he "used to pull up and down the zipper on my hoodie and record it."
Meyers found the whole idea really funny, but especially the name: "What, did you pick last?" he asked. And he laughed harder when he learned the backup band's name was the Tabbycats: "That sounds like some real hardcore s--t." Undeterred, Pattinson said he still wants to become a rapper, which, while improbable and probably inadvisable, still sounds like a better idea than his Plan C: male stripper. --Peter Weber
