Eric Cantor to step down as Majority Leader

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) will resign from his leadership post in the wake of his shocking primary defeat, according to multiple reports. Cantor is expected to step down by the end of July.

Cantor is scheduled to meet with the GOP leadership at 4 p.m. today to discuss his future plans.
