A 12-week-old puppy is probably spending some time in the crate for accidentally driving her owner's car into a lake. John Costello told Boston's Fox affiliate that his dog Rosie was so excited after her walk Sunday that she jumped into his running Dodge Neon and accidentally slammed on the gas pedal.

The car lurched forward, plunging into the pond with Rosie still inside. Costello quickly rescued his pooch and nobody was injured. The car, however, was totaled. --Jordan Valinsky
