Landslide in Afghanistan kills at least 350 people

Earlier today, a landslide in northeastern Afghanistan buried 300 homes. Afghanistan officials say at least 2,000 people are missing, and at least 350 have been reported dead.
A hill collapsed in the Hobo Barik village of the Badakhshan province, one of the country's most remote regions. Badakshan province Gov. Shah Waliullah Adeeb told The Associated Press that rescue crews didn't have enough equipment to help the community. "It's physically impossible right now," Adeeb said. "We don't have enough shovels; we need more machinery."
