Rand Paul: Mitt Romney is 'yesterday's news'

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Tuesday dismissed Mitt Romney, a potential rival for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, as "yesterday's news."
"He's tried twice. I don't really think that there is a third time out there," Paul said in a radio interview, adding that the party "is going to be looking for something fresh and new." Even if Romney were to run further to the right in 2016 than he did in 2012, Paul said, he would still wind up to the left of the rest of the party.
