Gunman takes hostages at French post office

An armed man has taken at least two hostages in a post office in Colombes, a suburb of northwest Paris.
AFP reports that there is "no known link" between Friday's hostage situation and last week's terrorist attacks in Paris. The Telegraph reports that the hostage situation was the result of a failed armed robbery.
Police have sealed off the area around the post office, and a helicopter was reported above the scene. --Meghan DeMaria
