Senate votes 98-1 that climate change is 'not a hoax'
The Senate was set to vote on a bill to approve the Keystone XL pipeline today, but first it voted on a couple amendments. One of these was pure symbolism, stipulating that climate change is "real and not a hoax." Oddly, even the fervent anti-environmentalist James Inhofe (R-Okla.) voted for it, first claiming on Twitter that the amendment actually affirmed climate change was a hoax, then later arguing that the hoax was not climate change itself, but whether it is caused by humans (it is).
Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) was the lone vote against.
