Harry Reid is having eye surgery on Monday for partial blindness

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid was back at work in his Senate office on Tuesday, but his office has announced that he will undergo eye surgery on Monday.
Reid injured his right eye and broke three ribs when an exercise resistance band he was using snapped. He has experienced blindness in his right eye for almost three weeks, Politico reports.
Reid is expected to work from his Senate office on Thursday, and he will work from his Washington home while he recovers from the surgery.
