U.S. measles outbreak reaches 154 cases

The MMR vaccine is almost 100 percent effective in preventing the disease.

New figures released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Monday revealed that the number of measles cases in the U.S. has passed 150.

The majority of those who have contracted the disease were not given the MMR vaccine, which is almost 100 percent effective in preventing measles.
