Watch a surprise new trailer for Game of Thrones season 5

To commemorate the announcement of the new standalone streaming service HBO Now, chairman and CEO Richard Plepler unveiled a very special treat for Game of Thrones fans: a brand-new trailer for season 5.

Clocking in at nearly two minutes, this is easily the most detailed look we've had at the upcoming season of Game of Thrones. Viewers will spot fan-favorite characters like Arya and Tyrion, as well as new characters like the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce).

The trailer is capped by Daenerys Targaryen's ominous warning for her rivals — and given how big her dragons have grown, it's probably not a great idea to cross her.
