Two senior Secret Service agents suspected of being drunk plowed through a crime scene and may have driven over a suspicious package during an active investigation, according to The Washington Post.

Police had just cordoned off a package described as a bomb when the agents returned from a work party, drove through police tape, and either hit or came close to hitting the package with their car, investigators told the Post. The paper previously reported that the agents, Mark Connolly, the second-ranking agent on President Obama's detail, and George Ogilvie, were under investigation for plowing into a White House barricade earlier this month.
