An ISIS guide to vacation

ISIS has its own magazine and cookbooks, so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the terrorist group has its own travel guide, too.

Mother Jones has uncovered the Hijrah to the Islamic State, a 50-page e-book offering suggestions for Western jihadists who want to join ISIS. The tips include benign travel advice, like "wear your most comfortable sneakers ever," as well as terror-based tips, like suggestions for how to sneak a good knife into Syria.

The tips also suggest buying a plane ticket for Spain or Greece rather than Turkey to avoid suspicion, and then traveling via ferry or bus to Syria later, and encourages would-be jihadis to study up on popular tourist destinations in case they are interrogated by airport security. Interestingly, the guide suggests finding ISIS contacts by searching for ISIS-related Twitter accounts.
