SNL glibly mocks Scientology's creepy history with annotated musical parody

Saturday Night Live's take on Scientology is, more or less, a condensed version of Going Clear in the form of a musical parody. Touching on the same seedy elements explored in the critically acclaimed HBO documentary, SNL offered up a fake '90s "Neurotology" music video — but with helpful annotations noting all the defections and mysterious disappearances to have happened in the intervening years. — Jon Terbush
