Hillary Clinton is running for president

Putting to rest the worst kept secret in Washington, campaign chairman John Podesta on Sunday confirmed in an email to donors and supporters that Hillary Clinton is making a second run at the White House.

"It's official: Hillary's running for president," the email reads.

Clinton herself confirmed the news shortly thereafter with the release of her first campaign ad.
