This new beer claims to make its drinkers look younger

No, we're not talking about beer goggles here.

Precious, the new beverage offered by Suntory, contains 2 grams of collagen per can. Often an ingredient in anti-aging beauty products, collagen is a protein found in connective tissues thought to improve the look of skin. As bodies age, they lose collagen, which could be one of the causes of wrinkles. Tantalizing, no?

Unfortunately, you'll have to take a trip to Asia if you want to try this supposed fountain of youth for yourself. Precious is currently only available on a small Japanese island where many women strongly believe in collagen's skin-enhancing properties (though, for the record, the jury is still out on their effectiveness).
