According to two anonymous sources cited in an amusing BuzzFeed report on Steven Seagal's connection to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) once requested that a "Chinese masseuse" be sent to his room at the Ritz hotel in Moscow.
In the evening, after the representatives returned to the Ritz, King asked a diplomat to arrange for a “Chinese masseuse” to be sent to his room, two U.S. officials said. One official with connections in Chinese circles was even asked to make inquiries about how to procure one, but declined. [BuzzFeed]
If you're wondering how salacious this really is, you're out of luck: "A representative for King did not respond to repeated requests for comment," BuzzFeed reports. After all, a masseuse can just be a masseuse.
