As one of the last guests on the Late Show with Dave Letterman, Tom Hanks wanted a picture with the host for posterity, and on Monday's show whipped out a selfie stick and demanded a photo. At first, Letterman thought it was some sort of golfing apparatus, but Hanks quickly explained what it was and why it was OK to use: "You know where they sell them? They sell these all over Florence, which was the birthplace of the Renaissance." After some fumbling, Hanks was able to finally snap a picture, which turned out to be pretty adorable.
