Dallas police confirm gunman is dead


The gunman who shot at Dallas police headquarters early Saturday morning is dead, the Dallas Police Department confirmed on Twitter. He was shot by a SWAT sniper around 5 a.m.
They have not yet identified the man who shot from an armored van and drove to a nearby Jack in the Box, creating a standoff with police in the parking lot. He identified himself to police as James Boulware. No one was injured in the shooting. Julie Kliegman
