It's a view most people will never see, and for the faint of heart, that's a good thing.
Last week, the Gateway Arch — Jefferson National Expansion Memorial National Park Service YouTube page posted several videos of what it's like to ascend, descend, and stand at the top of the St. Louis landmark, the tallest monument in the nation. The videos were shot while workers were checking the arch for signs of corrosion, and are enough to make people who aren't even afraid of heights take a deep breath.
