Maybe this time Donald Trump is serious. On Tuesday, the real estate magnate, tabloid staple, tireless self-promoter, and reality TV star will announce his intentions regarding the 2016 presidential race. Previously, Trump has teased the idea of himself running for president, then backed out. This time, Trump is reportedly willing to do what it takes to become a Republican candidate, notably give up his NBC show The Apprentice and release a detailed account of his personal finances.
Trump will at least tell the world what he's worth, $9 billion, a "person close to his potential campaign" tells The Associated Press. And if he does jump into the increasingly crowded GOP field, says AP's Steve Peoples, "Trump is positioned to have a greater impact on the early months of the Republican presidential primary contest than many GOP leaders would like."
