Watch Bobby Jindal's bizarre presidential campaign launch video
The conceit of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal's presidential campaign launch video, released today on Facebook, is that he had to tell his family first, before letting the rest of America know. The scene features Jindal and his wife and three kids, with Jindal saying, "Mommy and Daddy have been thinking and talking a lot about this, and we have decided that we are going to be running for president this year."
//
I had to tell a few people first. But I want you to be next. I’m running for President of the United States of America. Join me: http://www.bobbyjindal.com/announcement/Posted by Bobby Jindal on Wednesday, June 24, 2015
The poignancy of this intimate family moment, however, seems to be undercut by the GoPro-like camera that Jindal's team hid in a tree. But if that is to your taste, there are many more such videos here.
