Mike Huckabee on gay marriage ruling: 'I will not acquiesce to an imperial court'

Plenty of Americans are celebrating the Supreme Court's decision Friday to legalize same-sex marriage nationwide. Mike Huckabee is not one of them.
In a statement, the former Arkansas governor and 2016 GOP contender appeared to come close to calling for armed insurrection over the ruling, saying, "I will not acquiesce to an imperial court any more than our Founders acquiesced to an imperial British monarch. We must resist and reject judicial tyranny, not retreat."
Memo to other Republican presidential candidates: The race for the most outlandish call to arms has officially begun.
