Donald Trump thinks Hillary Clinton is 'very nervous' about facing him
Donald Trump says he can see right through Hillary Clinton's criticism of his comments on Mexican immigrants, whom he has called criminals and drug dealers. The real reason that Clinton criticized his remarks, Trump says, was not because they're incorrect — he's confident of his statement's "absolute accuracy" — but because the Democratic presidential candidate is shaking in her boots at the thought of facing him in the 2016 race.
“[Clinton] is desperate, she is sad, and she is obviously very nervous when she has to revert to issues that have already been settled given the absolute accuracy of my statement," Trump said on Tuesday. He went on to add that he was "honored" Clinton was going after him and not Jeb Bush. "Obviously she knows that Jeb is no longer her real competition. The last person she wants to face is Donald Trump."
In a poll taken at the beginning of July, 59 percent said they would vote for Clinton in a match-up between the former secretary of state and the real estate mogul — but a shocking 34 percent said they'd vote for the latter.
