For the first time in MLB history, all 15 home teams won on the same day

It was a good day to root, root, root for the home team: Tuesday marked the first time ever in Major League Baseball history that all 15 teams playing on their native turf won on the same day. Victories went to the Blue Jays, Rays, Marlins, Mets, Indians, Cubs, Royals, White Sox, Twins, Cardinals, Diamondbacks, Mariners, Padres, Dodgers, and Giants — all of whom were playing in their own stadiums.

The unprecedented feat almost didn't happen, though — the Mariners, who scored the final home win of the night, only did so with a walk-off home run in extra innings.
