He's ba-ack. And just in time for Christmas — with a film you probably should not bring the whole family to see.

Quentin Tarantino's eighth film, The Hateful Eight, is a Western that appears to stay true to the director's usual highly stylized sensibilities. Starring Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and — is it a Tarantino film without him? — Samuel L. Jackson, the movie follows "The Hangman" (Russell), a bounty hunter bent on bringing Leigh's dangerous Daisy Domergue in for a proper hanging. Inclement weather forces the pair to take shelter with a motley crew of other travelers. Will The Hangman manage to bring his charge to Western-style justice? We'll find out when The Hateful Eight hits theaters on December 25. Sarah Eberspacher
