Hillary Clinton says Donald Trump, Republicans like her when she's not running for office
Hillary Clinton did go to Donald Trump's wedding, she told Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday's Kimmel Live, but she can't remember if the billionaire now running for the Republican nomination registered for wedding presents, or if she gave him one (other than her presence). Kimmel read a nice quote about Clinton that Trump once said on Fox News, noted that he now calls her the worst secretary of state ever, then asked: "Is it like professional wrestling, where you guys all pretend to dislike each other to win these elections, and then you're all pals behind the scene?"
Clinton didn't say no, but she said Trump isn't alone in sending mixed messages. "When I'm not running for something, Republicans actually say nice things about the job I do," she said. "In the Senate, I worked with a lot of Republicans. As secretary of state, I worked with a lot of Republicans. We have a long list of the nice things Republicans have said about me." "You should have put that in the email," Kimmel quipped, in reference to her secretary of state emails being released each month. "That would have been a good way to slide that out there." Clinton went on to say she tries not to make personal attacks on Republicans, adding that for some reason the Republicans like to say mean things about each other and Democrats. You can watch all that, plus Kimmel's odd promotion of Trump's appearance on rival network NBC, below. Peter Weber
