At Saturday night's Democratic presidential debate, Hillary Clinton was asked about the race-related activism at the University of Missouri that resulted in the university system president's resignation. The former secretary of state was quick to side with the protesting students.

"I come from the sixties," Clinton said. "A long time ago. There was a lot of activism on campus [...] and I do appreciate the way young people are standing up and speaking out."
