Donald Trump has faced a range of unflattering comparisons in recent weeks, being likened to both Adolf Hitler and Harry Potter's Lord Voldemort. Now he can add Darth Vader to that list: "Darth Trump," a parody video by Auralnauts, takes "100 percent all natural Trump sound bites" and dubs them over Darth Vader's dialog in various Star Wars films.
The result is actually quite brilliant — as The Washington Post points out, "The overdub is done correctly. Trump's voice sounds muffled and tinny, just like Vader's. It's believable that Trump is actually beneath that Vader suit." What's more, the creators are spot-on with their timing, allowing for the supporting cast to react "with the kind of fear, respect, amazement, disdain, and uncertainty that characterizes how many Americans feel about Trump himself."
