Watch the eerie first teaser for the Twin Peaks reboot

Trailer for the Twin Peaks reboot, coming in 2017.

The moment we've all been waiting for is here: The first glimpse of the Twin Peaks reboot has been teased by Showtime. David Lynch fans will recognize Michael Horse, who plays the character Hawk, speaking in a slow drawl over iconic shots of the town where Laura Palmer was murdered 25 years before: "Locations sometimes become a character," he says. "There's a lot of holy places up here, a lot of sacred spaces."

It doesn't tell us a whole lot, admittedly, but there is this, at least, to hold on to: Twin Peaks is really, truly coming back in 2017. Jeva Lange
