One-time Republican presidential candidate and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham plans to endorse Jeb Bush for president, a spokesperson confirmed to CNN on Friday.

According to The Post and Courier, Graham plans to say that Jeb is "steady and ready...He understands the serious threats our nation faces and has a plan to keep us safe." The endorsement will be made from North Charleston, S.C.

"His endorsement is very meaningful, and along with it come a lot of friends and supporters of his. So I'm excited about it," Bush told Fox News earlier on Friday.
