The Democratic Iowa caucuses are essentially tied, with Hillary Clinton maintaining the slimmest of leads over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) with more than 90 percent of precincts reporting. But in what can only be called a symbolic victory, Sanders beat Clinton in Iowa's southeastern Clinton County, 51.4 percent to 48.6 percent. Losing Clinton County, just north of Davenport, is something Clinton should be used to, having lost it also in 2008 to Sen. Barack Obama, 37 percent to 34 percent. For what it's worth, Iowa doesn't have a Sanders County.
