Real estate scion Robert Durst pleaded guilty Wednesday to possessing a .38-caliber rifle, a crime because he is a convicted felon. The FBI found the gun after he was arrested in March 2015 on suspicion that he was poised to flee the country.

Durst will be sentenced to 85 months in prison as part of a plea deal, and will eventually face charges that he murdered his friend, Susan Berman. Some believe Berman knew about foul play involved with the vanishing of Durst's first wife, Kathleen, in 1982, and that she was killed by Durst to be kept silent.
