Influential South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn plans to endorse Hillary Clinton for president, a campaign aide told The State.
The announcement will come Friday morning at Allen University, a source close to Clyburn told The State. Clyburn is the No. 3 Democrat in the House and South Carolina's only congressional Democrat. The South Carolina Democratic primary will take place on Feb. 27.
