For those who have everything: Bespoke hair care
Forget the endless hunt for a shampoo that's just right for you. Function of Beauty, a company founded by two MIT graduates, is specializing in bespoke shampoos and conditioners (from $26) formulated according to a proprietary algorithm and mixed by a custom-built robot, said Christina Ohly Evans at Financial Times. The online ordering process is simple: Select your hair type (straight, curly, etc.), thickness, and moisture level; name your goals and let the company's computer work out a cocktail of natural ingredients to be bottled and shipped to you. Slight tweaks are easy for subsequent orders, and seasonal adjustments to your formula are expected.
