Donald Trump: 'I am a unifier'
Following a brief introduction from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Donald Trump opened his Super Tuesday press conference in Palm Beach, Florida, by attacking "lightweight" Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.). He also got in a dig at Hillary Clinton's victory speech: "'Make America great again' is going to be much better than 'make America whole again,'" Trump said.
He also declared he would make the party — and America — "more unified." "We've actually expanded the party," Trump said in response to questions of whether he was dividing his party, pointing out how much less enthusiasm there is for Democrats. "I am a unifier."
At the time of the Super Tuesday press conference, he had won Georgia, Virginia, Alabama, Massachusetts, and Tennessee, with previous victories notched in New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada.
