Only in America: High schoolers perform skit depicting slave auction of fellow student

Latin students at an Illinois high school created an uproar when they staged a mock slave auction of a student in chains. The skit was part of a competition in which several schools tried to demonstrate their knowledge of ancient cultures. "We were all standing there in shock," said parent Danielle McDaniels. School officials apologized, but said "no cultural insensitivity" was intended.
