Ted Cruz is offering 'Certificates of Deception' from 'Trump University'
Ted Cruz is using the drama surrounding Trump University to gain supporters for his campaign, offering people who sign his petition a "Certificate of Deception" (not really) from the now-defunct organization.
Marco Rubio led the charge against Trump and his university during the debate, with Cruz continuing the attack online. On his website, Cruz alleges that Trump "deceived thousands of hard-working men and women looking to make a better life for themselves. In exchange for their support, he promised them they would win. Instead, Trump misled them and left them in debt." The website claims that Trump has a "long history of defrauding others to make himself richer," and urges visitors to sign a petition (and give the Cruz campaign their full name, email address, and zip code) to "stand against Trump's money-grab" and receive their very own diploma from "Trump University."
