Ted Cruz projected to win the Idaho GOP primary

Ted Cruz will win the Idaho Republican primary, NBC News projects. With 96 percent of the results counted, Cruz is leading with 45 percent of the vote, followed by Donald Trump with 28 percent. Marco Rubio is in third place with 16 percent and John Kasich is in fourth place with 8 percent.
