Watch the chilling new trailer for Game of Thrones season 6
After a top-secret, VIP only premiere screening in Los Angeles over the weekend, HBO has taken mercy on everyone who wasn't on the invite list by releasing one last trailer for Game of Thrones season six:
This new trailer offers the clearest look yet at the arcs for the upcoming season, showing glimpses of characters like Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister, Arya Stark, and others as the show picks up from the various cliffhangers that ended season five. But for all the action, the trailer's best line belongs, perhaps inevitably, to Tyrion Lannister, demonstrating that he hasn't lost his wit in the midst of his exile from Westeros. "That's what I do," he tells Missandei as he sips from a glass of wine. "I drink, and I know things."
Game of Thrones season six premieres on April 24.
