Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio referenced a racist joke at a journalist-run comedy show Saturday.

In jokingly explaining his delayed endorsement of Clinton, Newsweek reports de Blasio said, "Sorry, Hillary. I was running on CP time," a reference to "Colored People's Time," a racist term that implies African-Americans are often late. Clinton quipped back, "Cautious politician time. I've been there."
