Prince's band The Revolution has decided to reunite and tour, they announced Tuesday. The band was formed in 1979 and recorded Purple Rain, Around The World In A Day, and Parade with Prince before dissolving in 1986.
The Revolution has reunited before, in 2014, although Prince ignored them at the time. "They were all set up for him to join in and play. He drove right past. Prince was a great drummer, and he was always marching to his own beat," musician Questlove wrote in a memorial essay.
