Sinead O'Connor found after being sought by police

Police in the Chicago suburb of Wilmette are searching for the Irish singer Sinead O'Connor after they failed to locate her during a check-for-well-being alert. The police had issued the alert after an unnamed caller expressed concern about O'Connor. According to officials, O'Connor was last seen on Sunday morning when she left for a bike ride at 6 a.m.; she never returned to her home.

O'Connor, 49, threatened suicide last November when she posted on Facebook that she had taken an overdose because "there is only so much any woman can be expected to bear." She got medical treatment after the incident.
