It's hard not to love the Hector Bag ($2,930). Modeled after Thom Browne's own dog and due to appear in the designer's men's and women's collections, the furry accessory bears an "uncanny" resemblance to a real wirehaired dachshund — "same rough coat, short legs, adorable expression of canine sufferance," said Cathy Horyn at New York magazine. If you prefer not to carry beaver skin, you can also choose Hector Bags in black or multicolored leather; just don't treat any of them like a toy. Hector draws attention, and thus scrutiny of the rest of your outfit. He also generates a huge range of reactions — "from joy and amusement to mild horror."
To order the fuzzy brown one, you'll have to give Browne's flagship store a call.
